Epithelial Cells
In biology and medicine, epithelium is a tissue composed of cells that line the cavities and surfaces of structures throughout the body. Many glands are also formed from epithelial tissue. It lies on top of connective tissue, and the two layers are separated by a basement membrane. Epithelium is often defined by the expression of the adhesion molecule e-cadherin, as opposed to n-cadherin, which is used by cells of the connective tissue.

Physiologic Instruments-
Physiologic Instruments designs and manufactures instrumentation, Ussing Chamber Systems and Data Acquisition products for studying transport across epithelial barriers. Transepithelial voltage, short-circuit current and resistance are measured using single and multi-channel voltage/current clamps that may be directly connected to Acquire & Analyze for automating data collection and analysis.
Another way to contact Physiologic Instruments is through http://www.piusa.net or email sales@piusa.net.
If you are looking for a comparison of the different Ussing Chamber Systems then you should check out http://www.ussingchamber.com for an up to date true comparision of ussing chambers for the study of epithelial barrier transport. This site has all your ussing chamber system needs.
